Frustrated beyond belief. Spent more on repairs replacing transmission and AC — and rear shocks next — since we bought CRV earlier this year than what we owe on the vehicle. Rear shocks have to be replaced next. Questioning their inspection process.
Alan, I am very sorry to hear of your frustration. Your daughter bought the CR-V with 175,000 miles and we did provide a 3,000 mile warranty in an effort to avoid expensive repairs right away. When you and I talked last month about the transmission the vehicle was well out of warranty but I thought I offered a good deal of help to reduce the cost of the repair which you declined. I'm sorry about the shocks, but they were not in need of replacement when we had the car. I would be more than happy to have our service department replace them at a reduced rate.
